Terms of Service
Last updated 26 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Krugis OÜ ([legal form, e.g. GmbH / B.V. / OÜ], [EU member state of registration]) (“we”, “us”) for your use of CueBot at cuebot.live, its web app and its installable app. By creating an account, starting a watch as a guest, or otherwise using CueBot, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
1. The service
CueBot lets you describe, in plain language, a topic or event you want to be told about (a “watch”). We use automated systems, including third-party AI models, to plan where to look, check public sources on a schedule, decide whether something matches, and send you an alert by email or another channel you connect.
CueBot is an information tool. It does not give financial, investment, legal, medical or other professional advice. Please read the Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
2. Who may use it
You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live. If you use CueBot for an organisation, you confirm you may bind it to these terms, and “you” includes that organisation.
3. Accounts and guest use
- You can try CueBot as a guest without an email address. An unclaimed guest account is paused after 7 days and then deleted.
- Keep your sign-in details secret; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at legal@cuebot.live if you believe it has been compromised.
- Give us an email address you control; alerts only start once it is confirmed.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use CueBot to:
- monitor, profile, track or harass a private individual, or stalk anyone;
- break the law, or infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights;
- attempt to manipulate the AI systems into ignoring their instructions, extract other users’ data, or bypass quotas, rate limits or plan restrictions;
- probe, overload or disrupt the service or the sources it reads, or access it by automated means other than the features we provide;
- resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.
We may pause a watch, or suspend or close an account, that breaks these rules or puts the service or others at risk. Where reasonable we will tell you first and give you the chance to fix it.
5. Your content
You keep the rights to what you type into CueBot (your watch descriptions, answers and edits). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process and transmit it only as needed to run the service for you, including sending it to the processors listed in the Privacy Policy. Do not put confidential, special-category or third parties’ personal data into a watch description.
Alerts link to and quote short extracts of third-party publications. Those remain the property of their owners; CueBot does not grant you any rights in them.
6. Plans, payment and cancellation
- The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans (currently Starter and Pro) are monthly subscriptions billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown before you pay and include VAT where it applies.
- Subscriptions renew each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period and is not charged again. We do not refund partial months except where the law requires it.
- We may change prices or plan limits for future periods. We will tell you at least 30 days in advance, and you can cancel before the change takes effect.
- EU/EEA and UK consumers — right of withdrawal. You have 14 days from purchase to withdraw from a paid subscription without giving a reason. Because the service starts immediately, when you subscribe you ask us to begin at once and acknowledge that, if you withdraw, you will pay for the portion already provided; the rest is refunded. To withdraw, email legal@cuebot.live with a clear statement.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep CueBot running, but it is provided on an “as available” basis. Checks can be delayed, sources can change or disappear, and AI providers can fail. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service or a paid feature you rely on, we will give reasonable notice and refund any prepaid, unused period.
8. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, CueBot is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it will detect every relevant event, that alerts will arrive on time, or that any AI-generated plan, summary or match is accurate, complete or current. You are responsible for verifying information before relying on it. Nothing in this section limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by contract.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including under mandatory product liability law.
Subject to that: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity or data, arising from a missed, late or incorrect alert, or from decisions you make based on the service. Our total liability for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period and €50. For users in Germany, we are liable without this limit for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to damage typical and foreseeable for this kind of contract.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using CueBot and delete your account at any time in your settings. Deletion takes effect after a 30-day grace period, during which signing in cancels it. You can export your data before you go. Sections 5 (licence to third-party content), 8, 9 and 12 survive termination.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using CueBot after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can close your account before then.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of [EU member state of registration], excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Courts at [city of the registered office] have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in its courts. The European Commission’s online dispute resolution information is at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu. We are not obliged, and do not offer, to take part in proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
13. Regional terms
United States
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THESE EXCLUSIONS OR THE LIMITATIONS IN SECTION 9, SO THEY MAY NOT FULLY APPLY TO YOU. Claims must be brought individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in a class or representative action, to the extent permitted by law. California residents: under Civil Code §1789.3 you may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the California Department of Consumer Affairs, 1625 North Market Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95834.
Asia-Pacific and the rest of the world
If you live in a country whose consumer law gives you rights these terms cannot exclude — for example under Australia’s Australian Consumer Law, Japan’s Consumer Contract Act, Singapore’s CPFTA, India’s Consumer Protection Act 2019 or South Korea’s consumer protection statutes — those rights apply and nothing here limits them. You are responsible for making sure your use of CueBot is lawful where you are.
14. General
These terms, with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, are the whole agreement between us about CueBot. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it to a successor of the business, and will tell you if we do. The English version prevails over any translation.
