Hear about hiring news before the job ads pile up
Job boards tell you about listings. CueBot tells you about the news that comes first: a new office in your city, a graduate programme opening, a hiring freeze lifted at the company you are waiting on.

Why this is hard to keep up with
- By the time a role reaches the big job boards, hundreds of people have applied — the advantage is knowing the company is expanding before that.
- Following a dozen target employers means a dozen newsrooms, press pages and LinkedIn feeds to keep checking.
- Keyword alerts for a company name send every earnings story and product review, and the one line about a new engineering hub gets lost.
What an alert looks like
Company confirms new engineering office in Lisbon with 200 roles
A national business news site
The company said the Lisbon office will open in the spring and focus on payments infrastructure, with recruitment starting this quarter.
An illustration of the format, not a real story. Every real alert links to the article and says in one line why CueBot decided it matched.

What CueBot does not do
CueBot is not a job board and does not scrape individual job listings or applicant-tracking pages. It is for the news around hiring — expansions, programme openings, freezes and layoffs — reported by public news sources. Pair it with your usual job-board alerts for the listings themselves.

Questions
Can CueBot send me new job listings that match my skills?
No — that is what job boards and their saved searches do well. CueBot watches the news: a company opening an office, a programme opening applications, a hiring freeze ending. Those are often the earliest signal that listings are coming.
Can I watch several companies in one watch?
Yes. Describe the group in the sentence, such as “a large fintech in Amsterdam announces a hiring push”. If you care about specific employers, one watch per company gives you cleaner alerts.
Will layoff news count as an alert?
Only if you ask for it. Write the watch the way you mean it: “announces layoffs” and “announces new roles” are different events, and CueBot checks each article against the one you described.
