Catch the tenders that fit what you actually bid for
Describe your sector and region in a sentence. CueBot reads procurement news and the feeds you add, and alerts you when a relevant tender, framework or contract award is announced.
Your watch, ready to go“A UK public body announces a tender for cloud hosting services”
Free for 3 watches. No card. You can edit the sentence before it starts.
Why this is hard to keep up with
- Procurement portals use classification codes that never quite match what you do, so code-based alerts are either flooded or empty.
- Big frameworks and upcoming tenders are often reported in trade press before the formal notice appears — and that lead time matters for a bid.
- Contract awards to competitors are useful intelligence, but nobody has time to read every award notice in their sector.
What an alert looks like
Council opens procurement for managed cloud hosting framework
A public-sector technology news site
The council is seeking suppliers for a four-year managed hosting framework, with a market engagement event next month ahead of the formal tender notice.
An illustration of the format, not a real story. Every real alert links to the article and says in one line why CueBot decided it matched.

What CueBot does not do
CueBot does not log in to e-procurement portals or download tender documents. It reads public news and any public feed you give it — many procurement portals publish search results as RSS or Atom feeds, and you can paste one in as a source. Always check the official notice for deadlines and requirements.

Questions
Can CueBot read tender portals directly?
Where a portal offers a public RSS or Atom feed of search results, yes: paste the feed address in as a source when you set up the watch, and CueBot checks each new notice against your sentence. It cannot log in to portals that require an account.
Is it better than CPV-code alerts?
It is different. Code alerts match a classification; CueBot reads the notice or article and judges it against the description you wrote, so “cloud hosting for local government” does not depend on a buyer choosing the right code.
Can I track contract awards to competitors?
Yes — describe it as its own watch, such as “a contract award to Capita for IT services”. Awards and new tenders are different events, so separate watches keep the alerts clean.
Can my team share the alerts?
Alerts go to one account. On the Pro plan you can send them to a webhook and from there into a shared channel or tool.
